DBWORXPE (dBworx Professional Edition) OVERVIEW:


 dBworxPE is a versatile database program --
 simple yet easy to work with.  Create your
 own files to keep track of almost any type of
 information (with up to fifty fields per record).

 Once you've defined the fields that make up your
database file, you can use dBworxPE to add, edit, delete, sort, 
search and filter information.  You can also import and export data
to and from dBworxPE, making it easy to share information with other
applications.

dBworxPE can handle many different types of fields, including: 
 
 Alphanumeric
 Numeric (with any number of decimal places) 
 Currency (for dollar amounts) 
 Current Date 
 Current Time 
 Auto-increment 
 Formula (for calculated field values) 
 Memo (for large amounts of text) 
 External (for images,spreadsheets, etc.) 
 Lookup (to select a value from a list) 
 Relational (to access another dBworx database) 
 Graphic (for drawings and diagrams)
 url(for web addresses)
 Subsidiary (embeds additional fields within a dBworx field) 
 Worx (links dBworx files)
dBworxPE has also been designed to make using the program as
easy as possible.  Every effort has been made to avoid complex
operations and keep basic functions simple and easy to understand.

dBworxPE features include:

Use "Action" menu options to update fields in all records 
Turn your dBworxPE database table into a web page
Use HTML "Webforms" for data entry

Limitations:  
dBworxPE has a limit of 50 fields per record. 
To use any of the webform or browser functions you must 
have Internet Explorer 4.0 or later installed on your system. 
Although there is no set limit on the number of records in
a given dBworxPE file, the system is really designed for files
of 50,000 records or less

NOTE:
The main screen and design window are compatible with both normal
size (96 dpi) fonts and large fonts (125 dpi) to accomodate those
who prefer larger size fonts or are visually impaired. Also, the
main window can be resized and the "Current Record" and "Database 
Records" list boxes can also be individually resized. Plus, a 
simple magnifier utility is available under the "Tools" menu.
